Terms & Conditions

Last updated: [21.10.26]

  1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions apply to your use of the Flourish Chiropractic website and to any treatment or services you receive from us. By booking an appointment or using our website, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully, and contact us at adjust.flourish@gmail.com if you have any questions.

Flourish Chiropractic is [Legal name of business / practitioner], of [Clinic address].

  1. Our services

  • Flourish Chiropractic provides chiropractic assessment, treatment and related services.

  • All chiropractic treatment is provided by chiropractors registered with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC), the UK’s statutory regulator for chiropractors. Registration numbers are available on request or on the GCC website (gcc-uk.org).

  • We will provide our services with reasonable care and skill, in line with the GCC Code of professional standards.

  • Chiropractic care is not an emergency service. If you have a medical emergency, call 999 or go to your nearest A&E.

  1. Your first appointment and consent

  • At your first appointment we will take a full case history and carry out an examination to decide whether chiropractic care is suitable for you.

  • If chiropractic care is not right for you, we will tell you and may recommend that you see your GP or another healthcare professional.

  • Before any treatment, we will explain our findings, the proposed treatment, any material risks and the alternatives, so that you can give informed consent.

  • You can ask questions, refuse treatment or withdraw your consent at any time, including during an appointment.

  • While many patients benefit from chiropractic care, we cannot guarantee any particular outcome.

  1. Your responsibilities

  • Give us accurate and complete information about your health, medical history and medication.

  • Tell us about any changes to your health, medication or contact details.

  • Let us know straight away if you have any unexpected reaction after treatment.

  • Treat our staff and other patients with courtesy and respect. We may decline to treat anyone who is abusive or threatening.

  • Use our website only for lawful purposes.

  1. Children and young people

  • Patients under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, who must give consent for assessment and treatment and remain present throughout the appointment.

  • Young people aged 16 and 17 may consent to their own treatment, but we may still ask a parent or guardian to be involved.

  1. Chaperones

You are welcome to bring a friend or family member to any appointment, or to ask us to arrange a chaperone. Please let us know in advance if you would like one.

  1. Fees and payment

  • Our current fees are shown on our website and in clinic. We may change our fees from time to time, but any change will not affect appointments you have already paid for.

  • Payment is due at the time of your appointment unless we have agreed otherwise. We accept [card / cash / bank transfer].

  • If you are claiming through private health insurance, you are responsible for checking your cover and for paying us in full. We will provide receipts so you can claim the cost back from your insurer.

  1. Treatment packages

  • If you buy a package or block of appointments, it must be used within [X months] of purchase. Unused appointments after that date may be forfeited.

  • Packages are for the named patient only and cannot be transferred.

  • If you buy a package online or over the phone, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of purchase under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If you have already used any appointments in that time, we will deduct the full price of those appointments from your refund.

  • If you want to stop a package after the 14-day period, we will refund any unused appointments, minus the full standard price of the sessions already used. [Optional: and an admin fee of £X.]

  1. Cancellations, missed appointments and late arrival

  • If you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment, please give us at least [24 / 48] hours’ notice by phone, email or through our online booking system.

  • Appointments cancelled with less notice, or missed without notice, may be charged at [50% / 100%] of the appointment fee. We may waive this fee in genuine emergencies.

  • If you arrive late, we may need to shorten your appointment so that other patients are not delayed. The full fee will still apply.

  • If we need to cancel or change your appointment, we will give you as much notice as possible and offer you another time. If you have paid in advance and cannot attend a new time, we will give you a full refund.

  1. Refunds

  • Because treatment is a service delivered at the time of your appointment, we do not normally give refunds for appointments that have taken place.

  • Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If you feel a service was not provided with reasonable care and skill, please contact us and we will look into it.

  1. Our liability

  • We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill.

  • We are not responsible for loss or damage that was not foreseeable, or for business losses.

  • Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

  • All of our chiropractors hold professional indemnity insurance, as required by the GCC.

  • The information on our website is for general information only. It is not medical advice and should not replace a consultation with a qualified healthcare professional.

  1. Complaints

If you are unhappy with any part of your care, please contact us first at adjust.flourish@gmail.com so we can try to put things right. We aim to acknowledge complaints within [5] working days and to respond in full as soon as possible.

If you are still not satisfied, or your concern is about a chiropractor’s fitness to practise, you can contact the General Chiropractic Council:
Website: gcc-uk.org
Phone: 020 7713 5155

  1. Privacy

We take your privacy seriously. Please read our Privacy Policy to find out how we collect, use and protect your personal and health information.

  1. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.

  1. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page with its “last updated” date. Changes will not affect appointments or packages you have already paid for.
